All week, I’ve been reading about how the big-name influencers are leaving Twitter and joining Substack. We are all now going to have to get up at 5 a.m., stop buying coffee, and cancel our Netflix accounts.
I’m so tired of this Bro culture.. so so tired.
And that’s not the worst of it.
There’s a flood of content out there right now.
AI is pumping out articles by the second.
Influencers are parroting the same soundbites they got from a brand deal or someone else’s thread.
It’s efficient. It’s polished.
But it’s also empty.
I’m tired of it.
Tired of reading generic tips from someone who’s never actually done the thing.
Tired of perfect lives and curated feeds.
Tired of hearing “authentic” stories that were clearly written to go viral.
I hope you feel the same.
What we want is something else, and we are going to have to lead the way.
We want real voices.
Real insight.
Real stories.
And that’s where you come in.
If you’ve lived a little…
If you’ve struggled, failed, started over, figured things out the hard way…
If you’ve had success and scars and slow seasons…
Then you’re carrying something no AI and no trend-chaser can replicate.
Your experience is your edge.
Your stories, messy, raw, and real, are what cut through the noise.
The internet doesn’t need more content.
It needs more you. It needs more honesty, it needs to be shown how it really is.
Here’s what I mean:
I’ve been in this online game since 2004.
I’ve seen every tactic under the sun.
I’ve made good money, lost my way, burned out, come back.
I’ve rebuilt my business around walking, thinking, writing, and simplicity, not because it’s trendy, but because life forced me to stop chasing complexity.
And now?
I share that journey.
And people respond.
Not because I’m perfect but because I’m real. I’ve screwed up and been honest about it. I’ve faced adversity and talked about it.
You have that same power.
So here’s your reminder for today:
Don’t hide your life. Use it.
The real things you’ve seen, felt, and figured out are your content goldmine.
Not just what you know, but what you’ve lived, what you’ve felt.
Let the others chase attention.
You’re building a connection.
And in the long run, that’s what wins.
Here’s your task for next week…
What’s one story from your life you’ve wanted to share, but haven’t yet?
Share it…
Because it might be the exact story someone else needs to hear.

Exactly!
And that's why I no longer write bro-advice or poetry shaped as wisdom.
I share my thoughts and my life. I do my best to add a lesson for the reader.
That may fail big time... But at least I won't feel fake while sharing.
