I’ve been enjoying a few days off this week as it’s my wife’s birthday on Saturday.

But here’s the thing… no one would have noticed.

Articles still went out each day, and my newsletters landed in inboxes (including this one).

I don’t actively promote anything as an affiliate. These commissions came from promotions I did 8 to 10 years ago that still pay out monthly or annually.

Look for products that pay monthly or annually. A simple link in an article, like a “Tech Stack” page, can turn into long-term passive income.

Tip #2 – Shape Your Business To Your Needs.

If you have a busy schedule create a business that fit’s in around it. If you are semi retired like me, shape your business to suit the hours you want to work.

You control your business, don’t create a monster that controls you.

Tip #3 – Stop Chasing the Big Win

Sometimes, low-cost, long-term offers generate the most income over time. A few well-placed links or memberships can stack up into something life-changing.

This isn’t about bragging—it’s to show that you can build a business that gives you freedom.

You might be closer to success than you realise.

Let’s start by doing some quick math.

There are 7 billion people on Earth. Do you think you can find just 500 who are interested in what you offer?

Let’s assume the answer is yes.

Now, imagine you create an offer that’s a total no-brainer:

“All the training you’ll ever need to succeed at XYZ”

Only $20 per month

Here’s how it adds up:

• 50 members → $1,000 MRR (monthly recurring revenue)

• 100 members → $2,000 MRR

• 250 members → $5,000 MRR

• 500 members → $10,000 MRR ($120K per year!)

Sounds impossible?

Let me tell you a quick story…

I once ran a WordPress community with 1,300 paying members at $29 per month. That’s $37,700 MRR (or $452K per year).

And guess what?

I shut it down to focus on courses. (Yeah, I know… what was I thinking?)

The point is—success is much closer than you think.
