This morning, I was sitting in a café, just watching the world go by like I do.
A table next to me caught my attention.
Husband. Wife. Young kid.
Sounds pretty normal. A standard family on a holiday breakfast outing.
But something about it made me smile, and then think.
He looked like he could wrestle a bull.
Big. Solid. The kind of bloke who looks like he owns several pieces of gym equipment and takes them all seriously.
She was tiny. Delicate. Feet barely touching the floor.
So naturally…
He ordered a bowl of granola, fruit, and yoghurt.
She ordered the biggest full English breakfast I’ve seen this year.
And I just sat there grinning into my café con leche.
Because in that moment, it reminded me how wrong we often are.
We look.
We assume.
We judge.
And more than anything …we label.
He’s the fry-up guy.
She’s the granola girl.
This is how it’s supposed to be.
But it’s not.
We are full of contradictions.
And that’s not a weakness …it’s the most human thing about us.
The loudest person in the room might be hiding deep insecurity.
The quiet one might be running a seven-figure business on their laptop.
The person who looks like they have it all figured out… probably doesn’t.
And here’s the thing I want to say loud and clear today:
There is no “type.”
Not in life.
Not in business.
Not in writing.
Not in what “success” is supposed to look like.
You don’t need to be loud to lead.
You don’t need to be polished to teach.
You don’t need to be certified to create.
You just need to show up, as you are, and do your thing.
That’s the real secret. Not confidence. Not charisma. Not credentials.
Just consistency.
That’s what builds trust. That’s what builds business.
And that’s how you quietly start to create something much bigger than content.
You’re building a world an ecosystem for your audience.
An ecosystem where your audience feels seen.
Heard.
Safe.
Curious.
A place where they belong, because you had the guts to show up first.
Forget the preconceptions.
Forget the labels.
Forget the stereotypes of what a “real” creator, teacher, or entrepreneur looks like.
There’s only one type that matters: the kind who keeps going.
The Inner Circle is full of people who don’t fit the mould and that’s exactly the point. We'd love to have you if you’re building something real, something human, something you.

Wonderful story about observing without judgement
Love this, Mark. It's so true. I would have felt the same!
