Here’s the good news:

It’s all BS.

RULE ONE: Don’t listen to what people say, watch what they do.

Most successful creators are doing a few simple things really well:

• They build habits.

• They stay consistent.

• And they focus on finding their first 100 readers.

That’s it. That’s the game. Now go look at those same voices with that in mind and you’ll see what I mean…

They are doing the same things over and over.
They talk to a small number of people not everyone.
They are consistent with their messaging.

Years ago, I heard something from Jerry Seinfeld that stuck with me.

“Don’t break the chain.”

Put an X on the calendar every day you show up.

Build a streak.

And eventually, you’ll protect that streak like your business depends on it.

Because it does.

• I have published over 540 articles on Medium… and I’m not stopping anytime soon.
• I include a link to my products in each CTA… and I’m not stopping anytime soon
• I write down the stats for EVERY article after 10,30, and 90 days… I am not stopping anytime soon.

Don’t aim for perfection.

Just kept going, one article at a time.

Even on the rough days.

Especially on the rough days.

So if you’re feeling overwhelmed, forget the long-term plan.

Just make the next move.

Put another link in the chain

And show up tomorrow.

That’s all you need to do, and you’ll be successful.
