How To Create “Legendary” Content
Mastering the art of infotainment in content marketing is a game-changer.
What Is Legendary Content?
Legendary content is content that gets talked about and shared and takes people where you want them to go. It’s content people talk about and remember years later.
What do:
‘I sold doughnuts on a nudist beach’,
‘The fish cost how much!!!’,
‘Oreo Cupcakes’
Have in common?
They might sound like outlandish episode titles from a quirky television show, but these are the subjects of some of the content that helped establish my six-figure content marketing business.
It’s the opposite of the content I showed you in the last chapter:

Legendary content is entertaining, informative and educational, with a beginning, middle and end.
The Beginning is usually but not always an introduction followed by a story element.
The Middle is a lesson or transition from that story that links to the end, which is…
The End is a call to action.
To use these, I generally create and keep updated a spreadsheet of story prompts and ideas from things that have happened to me. Then, when I write content, I’ll start with the call to action.
You read that right!
I start my content by writing the call to action first.
I’ll then try to find a story element that will fit the call to action; it doesn’t need to be perfect; with experience, you can make any story fit a call to action. That is what the lesson/transition is for.
My Oreo Cupcakes content finished with a call to action for an Email Marketing course.
